Ways to Give

Every child deserves a chance to fight, to hope, and to live a full life- no matter how rare their diagnosis. At The Hope Project for Kids, we stand beside families battling rare diseases, making sure they have the financial assistance, resources, and support they need to keep going. But we can’t do it alone.

Every act of generosity fuels light, laughter, and relief for families facing the unimaginable. When you become a Hope Hero, your donation is more than just a contribution- it’s an investment in hope, healing, and a better future. You’re giving a child access to treatments, therapies, and care they might not otherwise receive. You’re helping turn struggle into hope.

No matter the size of your gift, every dollar makes a difference. And the best part? There are so many ways to give. Whether you’re an individual looking to make an impact or a business seeking meaningful ways to contribute, there’s an option that fits you.

One-Time Donation:

Sometimes a single spark is all it takes to brighten the darkest moments.

  • A one-time gift helps us respond to urgent needs: travel for treatment, a comfort kit for a child’s hospital stay, or emergency financial relief for parents.

  • Every gift, no matter the size, becomes a lifeline.

Monthly Giving – Join the Hope Circle:

Join our Hope Circle, a community of committed donors who provide ongoing support to children and families. Recurring donations allow us to plan long-term support for families. You can set up a monthly, quarterly, or annual gift that helps sustain our mission all year long. Even a small recurring gift can add up to a life-changing impact over time.

When you give monthly, you provide steady support so families can count on us — today, tomorrow, and next month too. Think of it as planting seeds of hope that keep growing.

  • $10/month provides comfort items for hospitalized children.

  • $25/month helps fund support groups for parents navigating a rare disease diagnosis.

  • $50/month supports advocacy efforts to improve healthcare access for rare disease families.

Fundraise for Hope:

Your story has power. Use it to spark a movement.

  • Celebrate your birthday, honor a loved one, or rally your community with a peer-to-peer fundraiser.

  • When you share your “why,” you invite others to carry the light with you.

Corporate & Workplace Giving:

Many companies offer matching gift programs and will match your donation, doubling or even tripling the impact. Check with your employer to see if your donation can go even further through a corporate matching program. Compassion grows when teams come together.

  • Double your impact through employer matching.

  • Invite your company to sponsor programs or events.

  • Launch a workplace campaign that brings coworkers into the story of hope.

Stock & Securities:

Donating stocks, bonds, or mutual funds is a powerful and one of the most tax-efficient ways to give. By transferring securities directly, donors can avoid capital gains tax and deduct the full market value of the stock from their taxable income. This method is particularly beneficial for high-net-worth individuals and businesses looking for tax-efficient ways to give.

Turn assets into impact.

  • Donating appreciated stock can unlock significant resources for families while offering tax advantages.

  • A simple transfer creates lasting hope.

Cryptocurrency:

We accept cryptocurrency donations, allowing donors to make a significant impact while taking advantage of tax benefits. Crypto donations are processed securely and provide an innovative way to support our mission.

By donating Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other cryptocurrencies, you help fund life-changing support for families while making a high-impact, tax-deductible gift.

The future of giving can change a child’s future.

  • We accept cryptocurrency donations, giving digital assets a chance to become something deeply human — relief, care, and joy for families.

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs):

*Coming Soon

A Donor-Advised Fund allows individuals, families, or corporations to donate assets and receive immediate tax deductions while recommending grants to charities over time. If you have a DAF, you can easily direct a contribution to The Hope Project for Kids.  It’s an easy and strategic way to make a long-term difference.

A simple, powerful way to give through your DAF.

  • Recommend a grant to The Hope Project for Kids, and your generosity flows directly to families in need.

In-Kind Giving:

*Coming Soon

Beyond financial gifts, we also accept in-kind donations that can directly benefit families in need. Can your business provide medical supplies, adaptive equipment, technology, gift cards, or services?

If you or your business can provide medical supplies, adaptive equipment, technology, gift cards, or services, these donations can make a direct and meaningful difference in the lives of children facing rare diseases. Have something to give? Let’s talk!

Not all gifts come in envelopes.

  • Donated goods and services — from gas cards and airline miles to meals, equipment, or professional skills — lift an enormous weight from families’ shoulders.

  • Every practical gift helps kids and parents breathe a little easier.

No Matter How You Give

Every gift — whether dollars, stock, crypto, or a fundraiser shared with friends — becomes a thread in the safety net we are building for families living with rare disease.
