Every child facing a rare disease shows incredible courage. From daily medical routines to long hospital stays, bravery looks different for every child- but it deserves to be celebrated. Bravery Badge Kits are designed to give kids something tangible to hold onto, reminding them: “You are strong. You are loved. You are never alone.”

What’s Inside a Bravery Badge Kit?

Each kit is filled with fun, meaningful items designed to encourage, comfort, and empower kids:

  • Custom Bravery Badges- colorful stickers, iron-ons, or pins to celebrate every victory.

  • Encouragement Cards- handwritten or printed notes with uplifting messages from volunteers and supporters.

  • Fun Activities & Keepsakes- coloring pages, small toys, or memory items to bring joy in tough moments.

  • Family Extras- small notes or tokens for siblings and parents, because bravery runs through the whole family.

Rowan is 7 years old and was diagnosed with a rare disease called Hyphophosphatasia. Hyphophosphatasia affects how your bones and teeth develop. His mom reached out to us to request a Bravery Badge Kit (one of our programs) for Rowan to lift his spirits, because he was very nervous about all of the upcoming doctor appoinments and injections. When Rowan got his package he was so happy. His mom said it uplifted their whole family and made them feel cared for and seen.

How It Works

  • Families or care teams can request a Bravery Badge Kit through our website.

  • Kits are shipped directly to homes or delivered through hospital partners.

  • Each kit is provided at no cost to families, thanks to generous donors and sponsors.
