HAP’s Lynda P. Bollman Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care Program (Formerly Greater Illinois Pediatric Palliative Care Coalition) collaborates with hospital systems, hospices, families, and supporting organizations dedicated to optimizing quality-of-life for Illinois children and families affected by childhood cancer and/or medical complexities. The Lynda P. Bollman program focuses on providing advocacy, research, education, and resources to improve the lives of children and families involved in Pediatric Hospice and/or Palliative Care. We have a robust resource guide to assist patients, families, and practitioners identify state and national programs that will support our patient and families’ needs. Our collaboration with national organizations provides opportunities to advocate for children and families’ needs, as well as learn innovative practices and participate in research to enrich lives across the country, while bringing back this information to Illinois residents. All our incentives are completed in collaboration with our Parent Advisory Committee to ensure the patient and family voices remain the foundation of our work. We invite you to our website to learn more about our programs and current initiatives.
